Normal Everyday Life With Toby

Funny Story: The night before these pictures were taken, we were putting his pajama shirt on and it got stuck on his hand (think like a sock puppet) and he looks up at us while making his hand 'talk' and says "Oh hi movie star lady!!!" We just looked at each other and laughed so hard, we honestly have no clue where he heard that or thought of it. And now every night when the jammies come on, he says "Oh hi movie star lady mama!" or "Hi movie star lady Hanna!"

Tobys new 'toy' is my new iPod touch that I got for my birthday. I was crazy and thinking how great it would be to put some fun little apps on it for him, and shortly after doing so it was/is his favorite thing. Oh boy. Thankfully I was wise enough to put mostly bible games and stories on it because now he can tell you the stories about David and Goliath (or Goliathith as Toby says), Noah's Ark and Daniel and the lions den, and I it doesn't hurt that he's heard those same stories since he was a itty bitty baby. :) It's so sweet to hear him repeat them in his little voice.

Glorious Thighs

They are sure beautiful, aren't they? So rolly polly sweet.

Oh, hi Mom!

This is exactly what Toby used to do when he started 'cruising' around, pull himself up and hold on to both of the little handles. Jack just had to get a better view of the VeggieTales video on the t.v. :)

And this picture sums up the fear that is growing inside of me...he no longer sits in my lap contently sucking his little thumb, he wants down, and is making messes. AH! Where is my little baby?!

So Sour

Here's the little dudes eating a snack together. Toby is partially naked because he's going through the "I want to be naked boy" stage...yeah, it's so fun, especially when we have company drop by. Haha.

And you can also see Jacks new skill in action...waving. He doesn't do very well in the video, but he's great in person. I'm thinking he was a little camera shy. ;)

This Is What We've Been Doing...

Remodeling the 'man room' that is up above our garage. And my sister moved in! YAY! Such a exciting thing for us to have her around here. She is such a blessing in so many ways. I honestly don't know what I did without her here before. Me and a few girlfriends that I've had since about 1st grade decided we were going to start a annual girls trip (think girl version of Jamie's Canada trips minus the skiing, farting, movie making, fast food eating and....ok so maybe they are nothing alike at all) Well, anyways...I was elected to plan the first year, so it will be one year planning and three years relaxing for me. It will be wonderful. Turns out, planning a 'secret' girls trip (secret to them, all they knew is what to pack and how long we would be gone)was much more work than I anticipated. Lots of work, but soooo worth it. As you can see, we went to Cannon Beach, OR. We had a blast! Working on the yard... Working on the other side of our duplex. And I have been learning the ins and outs of the Oregon Landlord Tenant Laws and how to be a good landlord-business woman-salesman, honestly the last thing I ever expected to be. It's been a lot of work, but the Lord never gives us more than we can handle, and obviously he thinks Jamie and I can handle quite a bit. Haha...lucky me. ;) Two very sick little dudes. Toby had bronchitis and Jack had the starting of it, but praise the Lord they are all better now.

Have A Farm...

Toby has finally started singing! He really wasn't into it for the longest time but all of a sudden he's belting out his favorite tunes non-stop. He is such a crack up. Below are two videos that Hanna took on her phone of all of us in the car...it's his version of Old McDonald. "Have a farm, have a ______, e-i-e-i-oooooo!"

*If anyone out there (Michael or Tommy?) know how I can get these to flip can you let me know? I tried everything I know how to do.
